Hello Pithy Pals!
Things have been unpleasantly chaotic on my end of things, so why don’t we jump in.
Personal Status
Since it’s hard to talk about things without mentioning this: I deal with depression, and the holiday season is not a great time for me. The last couple months have been rough, and the failures that came along over the last couple months didn’t help.
So, because of the string of failures, I had to pick up a new day job just to make sure bills are paid. It does mean that there’s a number of things being cut (temporarily) until things can level back out.
Upcoming Games
As many of you noticed, the Weeaboomers Kickstarter was a failure. I lacked the funding to pay for marketing and hoped that the multiple conventions would get the job done. Sadly that was not the case.
It also meant that I had poured a decent amount of funding into this to get the first wave of art, and that created problems on its own.
As it stands, Weeaboomers will be on hold until I can get out of the rut I’ve been in. I want the game to be tongue-in-cheek comedy, and my mental state hasn’t been conducive to that style.
Other games on my backlog, such as TRIP or GalGar, are still percolating. They’re also on hold until I can get finances to be more stable, as I want to pay artists for their work.
Upcoming Conventions
This is another hard one. Due to the financial situation, I cannot afford convention tables and other costs for travel, so I have to stick with local shows. Since Pittsburgh shows are popular, I was waitlisted for a few, and due to life, I missed the application window for others.
My next confirmed event will be Pittsburgh Gaming Expo this fall. I hope to find other shows that are affordable, but this may take a while.
Website Update
As many of you noticed, my website hasn’t been updated with the minis. That’s due to the website not being able to support that level of shop. I’ve since been looking for alternatives, but again, finances are limited.
Additionally, I’ve had to go back and forth with banks and the state to get my business bank account settled, as most sites would not allow transactions without it. Now that it’s finally resolved, I’ve been trying to get things set up somewhere. Originally I was uploading things to my Facebook page, but that’s failing catastrophically due to the store not being visible even after loading things.
I’ll probably start working on Square again since I already have that set up, but if any of you have a store you’d like to suggest, I’m all for it!
New 3D Print Files
Now the big thing that most of you are here for: the 3D print updates!
Sadly, I’ve had to drastically cut the number of artists I’m working with, and may need to cut a few more. Due to the lack of sales from the last few conventions, no upcoming shows, and the lack of a webstore, I have to focus just on the minis, so a lot of the statue projects I’d wanted to continue with aren’t going to happen.
What does that leave us with?
Well, I plan on keeping Ethan Savage for as long as possible. Ethan keeps plugging out great work, even on his slow months, and who can resist retro anime and video games with some new figures tossed on?

Additionally, I’m working on keeping PopMinis on the table, as the classic pop culture references are just worth it. After getting a Netflix set in November and Gremlins in December, I hope we can get some things out to everyone.

While pricey, I plan to keep Lance from Epics’N’Stuffs for the time being. The video game minis are great, as we finished the Breath of Fire III set recently (well, except some side characters), and who doesn’t love the random critters?

While a new addition, I am still keeping Vaultz in the shop. The price is right, and who doesn’t love some zombie madness? This time around, we got some figures from Left 4 Dead, which is a nice throwback in my book.
CrossLances is still staying, even if only for the sheer love of the Plague Doctors he’s made. But, we’re starting 2024 off strong with a dragon and a set of warriors.
Due to a gray area, I’m still adding figures from Man I Love Figures. This month’s set has quite a bit of nostalgia and a bit of sexy thrown in. I’m sure there’s plenty for people to love here!
Finally, Dragoon Miniatures is still in the running. While the sales of Dragon Ball minis has been erratic, we’re hitting the era that many fans have been wanting figures from, so I am happy to oblige.
