Greetings Pithy Pals!
We’re at the beginning of another month, so you know what that means: new arrivals!
Before that, I just wanted to give a huge THANK YOU to all of you who came out to visit my friends and I at the Retrograde Collectibles booth at Steel City Con! It was a blast seeing many of you for the first time (or for the first time in a while!), and we all greatly appreciated your support of our endeavors! Alex should be back at Steel City Con in August, while I’m working on other convention leads at the moment to spread the word…
Speaking of spreading the word, you should help spread the word about the Pithy Productions shop website! We’re currently up to date with Dragoon Miniatures, Ethan Savage, have placeholders for the last of PopMinis, and got some new additions added in to get the ball started. Not sure who will be next, so stay tuned!
Oh, and if you want to see us in person, or schedule a convention pickup, be sure to reach out! Our next show will be Sci-Fi Valley con next month. You can find us at Booth D8.
So now the new arrivals of minis! As always, I love to start off with Ethan Savage.
Ethan has a bit of a slow month due to some projects in the works, but he did give us his takes on Link, Zelda, Ein and Drei (Phantom of Inferno), Lady Kushana (Nausicaa), and Jessie (Pokemon).
PopMinis has helped bring a meme to life while also following a previous tend: Looney Toons!
“I say, now I say, that’s not a joke, son!” Yes, we have a new set of Looney Toons characters, including the now meme-worthy Foghorn Leghorn. You may want to pick him up for not other reason than the meme!
And what’s a bigger meme than what inspires Dragoon Miniatures?
After many delays, we’re getting back into the Buu Saga, with the release of Super Buu and Gotenks!
So let’s take a look at a large bundle from Epics ‘N’ Stuffs.
Lance has been continuing his trend of Breath of Fire III inspired figures with Warrior and Trygon dragons, as well as releasing a number of Adventurers fit for many RPGs.
Of course, it’s hard to note general RPGs without bringing in CrossLances.
After last month’s Fire Elementals, we’ve been presented with a set of Earth Elementals and now Water Elementals. Expect to see an Air/Wind Elemental as part of next month’s newsletter if this trend continues!
Speaking of trends, Inaki Sculpts has gifted us something that has been trending.
In addition to this month’s model of Goth Nagatoro, we’ve also been given an NCR ranger from Fallout. While Inaki normally does larger statues/models, some of them scale well as miniatures.
And now we have a new addition to the inventory range: Galactic Armory.
Galactic Armory will be added into our miniature rotation, starting with minis inspired by Helldivers and Mr. Bones from Star Wars! We’ve also gotten in a large collection of troopers, and are currently looking to add the rest of their collection in the near future.
Hopefully, that “near future” isn’t the kind of zombie apocalypse that Vaultz imagines…
This month is a farmer-themed bit of zombie madness, as well as a teaser for an upcoming project that we hope we’ll be able to add to the inventory…
As an unexpected addition, Pithy Productions is one of the lifetime vendors for the MythExplorers set from RN Estudio.
These 40 figures, plus stretch goals, will be added to the webstore soon, so keep an eye out!
Finally, while we’ve been moving away from statues, we couldn’t pass up this month’s release from Abe3D.
With everyone talking about Eve from Stellar Blade, we thought it’d be a good idea to see if this scale figure will work as an RPG mini or not, not to mention the other stellar statues from this month’s release.
