Hello Pithy Pals!
Once again, we’re early in the month and have a newsletter to share! This one had a few delays due to a sudden illness to start the month as well as convention prep, but we’ll get to those details, as well as new releases and sales!
CONVENTIONS
To start the month, I attended Anthrocon thanks to a birthday gift badge from one of my former students, and of course I used it as an opportunity to scout the event, network, and get a feel for the community. I’ll try to apply to vend there next year, so hopefully I’ll see some of you there!
This week, I’ll be vending at a former “home” convention: CharCon in Charleston, WV! This gaming-heavy convention will run from Friday, July 12th until Sunday, July 14th. We get to set our hours (show runs until midnight on Friday and Saturday!), but you can expect to see Pithy Productions opened as late as we can handle!
After that, unless a waitlisted event opens up, we’ll be on convention hiatus until October, but we’ll make an announcement if things change!
THE SHOP
While there are some delays with getting EVERYTHING posted, we’re still soldiering on! We have all of the releases from Ethan Savage and Dragoon Miniatures (until this newest set), a growing collection of Galactic Armory and Epics’N’Stuffs, and our current lifetime licenses from Papsikels and RNEstudio. You can find that (and use the discount code) here!
NEW ARRIVALS
And here’s what you’ve all been waiting for! Sadly, we had to make some changes and cuts due to some contract changes and a reduction in convention appearances impacting our overall sales. Thankfully, we’ve tried to keep our favorites, and have some other new additions…
Starting with Ethan’s fantastic work. This time around, Ethan worked on a set of commissions, another Nier figure, a version of Roll from the Mega Man series, our vampire boys Raziel and Alucard, as well as bringing us back to Eorzea with an Alisae and revamped Y’Shtola!

CrossLances has finished up the Elemental set with the Shadow Elementals, while also bringing us a team of werewolf “Vile Hunters.” I’m curious where he’s going to go with this theme later this month!
Dragoon Miniatures is slowly catching up, and we all hope he’s recovering well enough to properly get caught up soon! This month, we get some DBZ movie characters include Pikkon, Great Saiyaman 2, Tapion, and fan-favorite Gogeta!
Lance from Epics’N’Stuffs is still going strong and NOT disappointing! He’s launched a Kickstarter for his Fire Quest line (inspired by Breath of Fire), and is still releasing those figures to his backers. There’s some wonderful and adorable this time around, and I know I’m looking forward to seeing more of these dragons!

Thanks to a wonderful deal provided by Galactic Armory, I’ve been given access to their entire backlog, as well as remain as a licensed merchant until next July! In addition to getting their entire collection (this’ll take a while to upload, so bear with me!), we have some minis inspired by the Arbiter (and Elites) from the Halo series with a variety of weapons, as well as a new Deathclaw and Master Chief diorama. More on these soon!
Vaultz is sadly a bit delayed, so we don’t know what we’re getting this month. Stay tuned for those!
And now for something different: new licenses!
To help keep our costs down while trying out new artists, we’ve been adding some items from artists due to affordable Commercial Licenses as part of campaigns. Our current sets we’re trying out include…
The Bus Stop from Hardwitch Games! These seven figures are ready to join your post-apocalyptic wasteland campaign whenever you’re ready, and are approximately scaled for 32mm gaming. These have arrived and test prints will begin shortly!
Titan Class Vol. 1 from Vesper Project! This campaign has a number of mechs, vehicles, terrain, and minis, and we hope to bring these to you all soon!
Sisters of the Sun by Broken Sword Studios! This set of three warrior women are inspired by the Sisters of Battle and should be available as statues and minis. Still waiting on the arrival, so stay tuned there!
Scum and Villainy by Beast Miniatures! As a long-time fan and GM of Star Wars, seeing these sci-fi minis made it an easy decision. Hopefully they’ll print and be as amazing in person as they are in these renders!
Finally, we’re trying another RNEstudio run with Forgotten Chapters! This was a series of darker, gothic-inspired minis covering a range of themes, and we look forward to getting them all posted on the site soon!
