Hello Pithy Pals!
We’re at a new month, which means new arrivals! Let’s see what we have in store…
But first, a few reminders!
First, barring last second changes, I’ll be joining my friends at Retrograde Collectibles at Steel City Con! Retrograde is one of two brick and mortar stores where you can find all of my games, and I’ll be talking shop and offering on-the-fly demos of these games (and possibly a new skirmish game!) from April 12th through 14th at the Monroeville Convention Center! Swing by to say hello and support this awesome local shop!
Speaking of shops, my shop site is up and running! I haven’t gotten anything beyond the Dragon Ball Z inspired minis posted just yet, as I’m still working on formatting options (like putting character variants on the same item). Stay tuned for more additions!
And now for the part you’re waiting for: new inventory!
Let’s lead off with my favorite, Ethan Savage!
This month, Ethan brings in a range of retro with some modern. Cid from FFVII, Clive from FFXVI, and a Red Mage round out the Final Fantasy madness this month, but we also get a Simon Belmont, Yoriko Readman (from the anime Read Or Die), and my personal favorite: Alex Noah from Lunar: Silver Star Story. A solid month there!
Pop Minis, on the other hand, ended up getting a little bit Looney…
Looney Toons takes over this month’s release. Bugs, Marvin the Martian, Taz, Daffy, and the iconic Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner finish up this set. This should be a fun one to print!
Of course, the real fun comes when I can print one of my favorites, which Inaki Sculpts delivered.
This month, we’ve gotten the best girl of Overwatch, Brigitte Lindholm. Again, I have to cut down on statues, but I’ll definitely be trying this one as a mini in the near future.
While Crosslances isn’t making waifu material, they’re definitely out to turn up the heat.
For the first release of this month, we are getting a set of Fire Elementals, as well as the “Nemesis” figures sent late last month.
And we can’t talk about a proper “nemesis” without thinking of one of the most vile villains in Dragon Ball Z: Majin Buu, which is what Dragoon Miniatures is bringing to us this month!
Dragoon is making up for a missed month and is working to drop two sets of figures on us, including the various forms of Buu, Mystic Gohan, Gotenks, and Vegito. I for one am excited to see the best version of Gohan in mini form! We’re still waiting on this release, but I’ll take a slow release if it means the artist is working on their health (which has been part of his challenge lately).
Oh, and there’s a new, rather epic-looking project in the works that some of you may want to convince me to get in on from him…
On the topic of epic projects, let’s see this month’s epic release from Epics’N’Stuffs!
In addition to a major expansion to the welcome pack (giving me even more options for the shop), we have even more Breath of Fire content in the form of the egg gang, Rand, Deis, muscle man platform, bunny girl for the arena, and more monsters.
But we all know that the worst monsters are those within, which Vaultz reminds of us with his upcoming Silent Hill collection…
From tormented father’s to brave daughters, from monstrous nurses to horrifying mascots, we have a nice range to bring to our gaming tables for those who need that little bit of horror.
And that rounds up the guaranteed collection! I have a few others I’m looking into, and will need to turn things around before I can really expand, so I’ll leave you with this test print as a teaser of what might be coming soon…
As always, stay safe, everyone!
